By the way, big problem for Detroit tomorrow: the first and second games of the Stanley Cup Finals will occur at the same time as the NBA Eastern Conference Finals Games 3 and 4 at the Palace at Auburn Hills. The NBA and NHL should have considered this and moved the NBA game to 4 pm Eastern time so people in Detroit can see both games without a scheduling conflict.

Get Dish Network!
It beats cable 10,000 to one! No comparison. No TV guide needed, pay per view sports, you can’t beat it.
By the way, I’m from Northern Minnesota. (Up by Warroad and Roseau, home to about half the Olympic Team and several NHL greats, like Henry Boucha, Neil Broutan and Al Hangschleben.
My first collective memnory at the age of 5, was looking down at my feet, seeing a pair of CCM’s and a Northland Pro in my hands, and a Red Dot puck in front of me.

29. The best officiating in sports. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

It has gotten a little better, but there’s room for improvement.
NHL was first with using instant replay to call goals. Adding another referee was another good move. Doing away with the two line pass, and cracking down on holding and hooking has opened things up on the ice, making it more exciting offensively.
In a sport as hard and fast as hockey, referees aren’t going to be able to keep up with the athletes. And I’ve has my share of nasty comments about the zebras.
But it’s been a wonderful playoff series this year. I hope more people take the time to watch the Stanley Cup Finals. Hockey is a fantastic sport.
Pittsburgh ad Detroit will be a classic. Mark my words.

True, the NFL could learn a lesson from the NHL in having every video review be done by league officials.
To: SoothingDave
I agree.
If the officials at the rink can’t make a call, there are officials in Toronto at NHL HQ who will make the call, and in a very timely manner.
So a review tonight will be done in Toronto. And it won’t take but a minute.
Very cool!

Condiering how the bulk of all NFL games take place within a 6 hour period of time, it seems kind of antiquated that the NFL does not have instant league review like the NHL does. That’s one for the “garage league.” ;-)
To: airborne
No, I try to stay off of Ping Lists because the I spend too much time online! Thanks anyway. Go Wings!!

I like the Pens' chances as long as Neil O'Donnell doesn't don the gold & black sweater.

I just want to say that Chris Simpson is really hot. She may not be ERin Andrews but she comes in a close second.
