You got that right, and I have seen some happy with men I would have run over looking for someone, and vice versa. I guess it all depends on your needs. I don’t want to be someone’s heart and lung machine, so freedom is important to me...I like to come and go without oppressive domination. I see others stuck together like glue, and one can’t go to store without their other half....scary.

But some people are happy that way. I remember someone saying about Ronald Reagan, "He was lonely if Nancy wasn't in the room."

If both people want a lot of togetherness, it's good. If one wants to be always close while the other needs more space, it's difficult, but can still be worked out if the people are really committed to considering the other's needs as well as their own.
