My 19 year old Grandson’s 4 best friends have enlisted since graduation last June. 3 in the Marines and 1 in the Navy Ben's graduation was this morning. Out of a class of well over 400, only five were listed as having plans to enter the military. I thought that an astonishingly low number.

Jr. is driving the Navy/Marine car tonight. There will be 10 new recruits getting a lot of recognition from NASCAR in some kind of ceremony. All part of a new recuiting program in conjunction with NASCAR and Jr.

Cheer up Don as none of the 4 enlisted until several months later. What have I missed sicne the Truck Race. My First Wife hollered at me that the King was on the track so I put my carpenter tools away and came in. Bush Race is about to start on ESPN...
