Whether you vote for McCain or don’t vote, you’ll have made a choice. McCain is not nearly the socialist you think he is, so stop the McCain-is-a-socialist nonsense. He’s actually more conservative than Nixon. He’s wrong on some major issues, but to call him a socialist (like many others on this forum) makes a mockery of the word socialist. In your definition apparently a socialist is anyone who doesn’t agree you with you. And I’m sure you’ll be hsppy with a real socialist, Obama, as president.

McCain actively sought out the socialist Democrats in 2001 when he was considering becoming a member of that party. He was considered by socialist John Kerry as a potential VP running mate in 2004. He has been funded by communist billionaire George Soros. He sponsored bills that restricted free speech (McCain-Feingold), the fallacy of human induced global warming(Lieberman-McCain Stewardship Climate Act), amnesty for illegal aliens(McCain-Kennedy)all with staunch socialists. This doesn't include McCain scheduled to speak to the illegal alien supporting group La Raza who wants the western part of the U.S. to be part of Mexico. He recently stated is against drilling in ANWR and admonished his own party by defending Marxist Obama because the North Carolina GOP ran an ad against Obama.
That's not nonsense. It's fact because it is McCain's history. You can bury your head in the sand by choosing to ignore his history but those who ignore history are condemned to repeat it.
