Sounds like it might be a feral hog. We’re having a problem with them in southwestern Wisconsin. They’re not a native species but were imported some years back and allowed to go wild. They can get quite large and have very nasty tempers.
Don’t think cute little pink barnyard pig. Think 500-lb Arkansas razorback with a bad attitude.
