Grace Slick also had that type of voice...not the same as Benatar, but her voice was also captivating. Although shes thought of as a 60s artist, she did have hits in the 80s with Starship, so I think she can be counted in this discussion.I've always said the 2 greatest female rock voices are Ann Wilson and Grace Slick. Although Starship was total cheese, Grace was the best part.
