" How ALL the failures are President Bush's fault remain a mystery to me."

They aren't, I realize that. He has had some successes.

However, regarding this energy issue, all Bush has done is to give lip service and bend to the will of the Congress. Yes, Congress writes the legislation, but if you recall the Executive Branch can also submit legislation for consideration. Plus, he lost his veto pen other than what, twice?

Like I said above, if he been more aware of the coming energy shortfall, as even us laymen could see, he could have made his case to the American populace. He didn't even try. Now we are facing a crisis of immense proportion. Just wait, you will think back to this article and realize our own President got punked and you will be paying for it and pissed off.

ALL of your statement are DEMOCRATIC, so why aren’t you posting over at Huffington Post, where you would fit right in! This is a conservative forum, or at least it used to be. Did Obama send you?

I agree! President Bush should have abolished CONgre$$ and signed an executive order to begin drilling in ANWR and every other place the USA has oil deposits on January 20, 2001 at 3:00 PM!!!
President Bush campaigned on drilling in ANWR and pushed to begin drilling in ANWR. He should have kept his promise, the pesky CONgre$$ be damned!
