Certainly the Bush administration is in great need of the advice of a geo-political genius such as yourself. Why don’t you call them tomorrow and offer them your services? Then we can expect a massive increase in OPEC production in about a week, two tops.

Poor attempt to change the discussion to me.

The point is that rather than Bush even asking OPEC for increased production, he should have been using his limited authority and powerful voice to make a case to the American public about drilling, refineries, nuke plants, coal mining, etc. and thereby change the minds of Congress.

Instead, he embarasses me by holding hands with King Abdullah and getting a big fat NO, while maintaining the status quo. He was punked! Face it now or you will face it later as gas and everything else that uses pertroleum gets exceedingly expensive.
