Bush was leaning left on green issues from day one. His appointments to key positions showed us as much. Gail Norton D.O.I. and Chrissy Todd Whitman to the EPA. I remember a firefighting dieing because the choppers could not get permission in time from D.C. top scoop water from a lake where so called Endangered Species dwelled. I can't recall the state but I remember it happening. Bush appointed Liberals to such positions yet people expected Conservative policies as a result from it?

I gave Polar Bear a break, but the Polar Bear decision is too close to home. I worked at Prudhoe and on the Alyeska Pipeline. That doesn’t make me an expert of course, but he is Polar Bear from here on out.
