I grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago, and as a kid
we would go to dance halls that featured up and coming rock
bands. One such music hall was in Arlington Heights, Il. and
a young kid from the Detroit area would come and sit in with
some of the local guys. Well as it turned out ol’ Terrible Ted
was living with his aunt or someone, and he would show up at these
places. WHAT A SHOWMAN even when he was a teenage axman.
