Does that mean he was similar to Fonda in being a traitor?

He was a much better actor than some of the rotten films he was in would imply. RIP

I think his most famous role was the lead in The Love Machine. Curiously that Dionne Warwick song has been running through my head the last day or so.
And I’d agree he was better then the movies he got would suggest.

That’s the one I remember, too. I think Dyan Cannon was in it as well.

He was Raquel Welch’s he-man in One Million Years BC, too.

His greatest role was Kalgon in “Space Mutiny.” If you haven’t seen it, consult the ‘bots on MST3K.

They also tackled Danger Diabolik in the final episode.

He was in “The Golden Voyage of Sinbad” not a particularly good movie but had outstanding special effects(for that period)

Wow ... one of the worst MST3Ks ever! (And therefore, one of the best.)

I forgot about that one! LOL!!
Still, Space Mutiny ranks as probably the best of the worst on MST3K. It is truly unforgettable.

I used to videotape all the old MST3K’s back when they were on the Sci-Fi Channel. Whenever I need a good laugh (which is more and more these days), I pop one of those old tapes in the VHS and get lost in the wonderful world of awful movies. Space Mutiny is definitely in the top 3!
