I have good memories and my family (siblings, niece, nephew etc). And my own mind.
I’ve lived long enough, been around enough sick and dying, seen lots bad things happen....lots of folks die with no family around them (though there was lots in the community)
There are no guarantees involving other people...only what you keep inside yourself you can control.
I’m not afraid of dying, and I’m not afraid of dying alone.
The greatest fear and most damning myth is that being alone is the worst thing that can happen.
It isn’t. There are far far far worse things.
But believing the myth makes you tolerate hell in fear there is something worse.
