Garner is a Korean war vet. Who knows, he may even hold to some conservative values. If such a thing is possible in the Commiewood crowd.

Sorry, he's a "liberal" (but not a hard-core lefty). However, he conducts himself with class and dignity, and doesn't try to shove his politics down everyone's throat, so he's cool by me.
