That was never the intent of this race. I am in shock that this could happen. I guess it depends upon individual contracts.
When they first started this all star stuff they wanted to make sure that the most popular drivers would race. But new contracts and time has made this thing a joke if what Harvic said is true.
In the past, I know some drivers gave the whole thing to charities. It costs a lot to field one of these cars, don't really know what Richard's take would be, if any.
On the other hand, if he got 2.5% from Delana, he's dong better than most of us. ;)
