There’s actually much less sexual content in films now than there was in the 1970s.

You may be right about the 70’s as I do not watch many movies in todays theaters where suckers have to pay $10.00 for a seat, $25.00 for a bucket of popcorn, $12.50 for a coke and $6.00 for a candy bar while listening to conversations right when the part gets good.

I do however watch TCM, AMC and sometimes On Demand.

Over at the neighbors for a visit and their daughter Tina aged 13 was watching a movie on TV with that Hollywood shoplifting thief Winona Ryder playing a mentally ill patient.

Every other word was fluck this or fluck that.

Finally my neighbor saw that my wife was uncomfortable hearing the filthy language and made the child go to her room to finish watching the movie.

I would have preferred that the daughter turn off the movie and watch something more age appropriate.

These same neighbors are discussing buying her birth control pills because they think she is having sex after finding a condom in her pants pocket.

Undisciplined movie making in the 1970s, survey-driven movie making in he 2000s.
