I was in the yard spreading fireant crumpets to feed to their queens. Then I was tying up my cucumber plants so the cucumbers wouldn’t lie in the dirt, then I was transplanting some sedum on the berm, then I transplanted a rosemary bush...then... HI BEV. Miss you when you’re off being busy. How is the weather, now in the Pacific NW?

Fire ants....ick! You asked about our weather...well, we have had a doozy of a winter and no spring as yet. I guess we did see the sun one day last week. Right now it is raining and quite chilly. They say tomorrow will be the same, but Monday might be just partly cloudy - no rain.

I have been busier than I should be for a retired person. We have had to train several new people at the Clinic and, I have taken up a VICE :-) I play MAHJONG on Thursday afternoons....not the gambling game, but just plain old Mahjong. I really do like it although the scoring still has me a bit befuddled. A rocket scientist I am not!
