When I first saw this I thought the same thing.
Certainly the audience thought so.
But on watching it a second time...I'm not so sure.
BTTT
you forgot the socialist state.
The liberal bias in the media will be patently obvious if they let this one go. They jumped on Bush for not knowing the name of the prime minister of Canada. That was a little embarrassing but I think most Americans prefer a president who possesses the basic facts of our own country that 99% of 1st graders know.
I'm assuming this wasn't a direct quote, right? Because if he said that, it is equally embarrassing.
From the movie Animal House:
D-Day: “War’s over, man. Wormer dropped the big one.”
Bluto: “Over? Did you say “over”? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!”
Otter: “Germans?”
Boon: “Forget it, he’s rolling.”
Reminds me of Forest Gump in the scente where his was in a room full of black panthers plotting violence and revolution and said, “I’m sorry I had a fight in the middle of your Black Panther Party.” Maybe it’s not relevant but it was ironically funny.
I think most liberals believe this.
I've never in my life been out of it so much that I forget there are 50 states. It's the most elementary of facts American schoolchildren learn. Perhaps his time in Indonesia has put him just that much further out of touch with mainstream America. He's illustrated this before.
On top of showing himself to be an utter bafoon, Barack, who is Hussein, Obama, is the absolute apex of the domestic enemy, subversive, anti-American movement in this country.
Polished in a prepared speech, charismatic in his presentation, nonetheless, underneath it all lies a smoldering cauldron of marxism, bigotry, and black liberation theology that is the enemy of America and its traditional values.
THE AUDACITY OF TRUTH - OBAMA'S CIRCLE OF FRIENDS AND SUPPORT
THE AUDACITY OF TRUTH - BLACK LIBERATION THEOLOGY AND OBAMA'S CHURCH
THE AUDACITY OF TRUTH - BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA
The states of “Chaos” could have been counted.
Still, it's a pretty big misspeak, even if you're tired. Makes you wonder how he will misspeak when he's really tired in the middle of a 96 hour national crisis.
Of course he mis-spoke and as much as I detest this man- I would give him some leeway if he hadn’t compounded it by saying he only had one more to go to; Alaska and Hawaii.
Steve Urkel would never had made that mistake.
Yes, he is.
However, if you put him in front of a teleprompter and have him read other people's words, he becomes "articulate', "inspiring", "moving" and "genuine".
Not in reality, of course, but Democrats have a difficulty in differentiating between reality and illusion.
Drink the cool aid and feel a warm thrill in your leg every time this man speaks. < /barf >
Yup, I trust this guy’s level of knowledge of the country. 2nd-graders are laughing at him (and being shut up by Hussein-adoring parents).
