What a joke! Torrent Spy was merely a search engine that gave LINKS to torrent sites. They didn’t host or do anything that even came close to copyright violations. Initially torrent spy blocked queries from American IP addresses, which sucked having to use Tor to access them, and then recently they shut the site down all together.

What’s next? Is the MPAA going to file a lawsuit against Google? This is going to be a terrible legal precedent.

This is of real concern because...

This is going to be a terrible legal precedent.
