Isn’t this rather OLD????

Sadly the next occupant of the WH will not be so classy or “folksy”.

And here are the Giants' grand prize for beating the Patriots:

...Being a long time Giants fan, it is truly an amazing ending to a fantastic year for my beloved Big Blue! Of the 38 years plus giants seasons I remember, this will be right up there with ‘86 and their first super bowl...It is a season with memories that still bring tears of joy to my 46 year old eyes. I have never been prouder to be a Giants fan and opening Thursday night, first week of September, my Blue Crew and I will gather at Napper Tandys in Smithtown, NY to once again, raise a pint, and salute our heroes. This past year is the reason why I am a NFL Football Giants fan. One year like last year makes all the lousy years worth while

Being reminded of last year’s Super Bowl never gets old.

We’re going to send Jessica Simpson to the Democratic National Convention, Bush said

Saw the title and had a vision of Loki and the Frost Giant’s visiting Bush. Wondered if they called in the military (or contacted Thor for assistance).

As I always say, we receive great inspiration from our soldiers.
As do I, as do I...
When I think things are tough I just think about what these men and women are going through....and amazingly thereafter....I find a way to suck it up and move forward...
As for Big Blue....the 2007 team was a team for the ages...inspirational in their own right...

43 year old Giant fan here. That was an amazing season. 86 was sort of expected. 87 was ruined by the strike and I am not going to go into Flipper Anderson ruining what was probably the best Giant team ever.
To watch the Giants D batter there way to victory by smothering and smacking one QB after another into submission was the ultimate reward for being a true fan (especially loved Tony Romo losing it and yelling at his O-line). I still don't believe that Manning escape and Tyree catch happened.

We’re all around the same age (44 here), so we all probably started watching during the Ron Johnson / Bob Tucker / Alex Webster days (early 70s). Had some good players, but the teams were regularly among the worst in the league — not the best time to become a fan. Had to wait until around ‘84 for things to pick up, and boy did they get good in a hurry.
But to me, the ‘07/’08 season was the most gratifying of all.

I know, I know.....I'm a Giants fan and ya'll aren't. But the President's tribute to the Giants and to Lt Col Gadson makes reading this all worth while.

Good read, I was pulling for the Giants to win that game. It was a great game.
The Jessica Simpson crack was pretty funny! LOL
