The reports are clear, that it is the Buddhist monks doing the foot work to help the people in need right now in Burma.

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW WE CAN SEND MONEY DIRECTLY TO THE BUDDHIST ORGANIZATIONS WHO ARE DOING SUCH SELF-SACRIFICING WORK (many are giving their own lives for others) ???

Please post any information how we can get their contacts, and how we can give or help.

Reports are very clear of also the amazing work of many Jewish organizations that are helping, I want to thank all those who are doing this help.

I have found the following from a S.F. Bay Area news web page (KTVU), many major organizations are listed, but it's missing any information as to how we can get money directly to those monks who are doing this needed work for their people.

Also, I would like to thank Hillary Clinton for her mention during her evening Indiana Primary speech of Myanmar situation and her request that the regime in Burma please allow the outside world to come in and help.

Here are the well known links (again missing the Buddhist organization which are really doing fantastic "foot work" in the slums and dangerous areas to help others):

The following aid agencies are accepting contributions to help those affected by the cyclone in Myanmar. The list is from InterAction, a coalition of aid agencies, which can be contacted at InterAction at (202) 667-8227 or http://www.interaction.org.

Why the confusion over what to call Burma? Why would anyone legitmize the thugs by calling it myanmar?

The political correctness in using the name the thugs like is sickening.

And what would happen if we just landed aid and relief right now? If the stunned hoodlums objected we could open fire on them like they did to the monks. We could use this act of God as an opportunity to free these poor enslaved people of Burma.

But apparently we will need the permission of the thugs regime before we can even call it Burma, much less help them
