Thanks to you guys and the ones that FReepmailed me.

It’s not like a final Opus as you guys call it on FR. I will be around, but not very much. I don’t follow politics anymore that’s more stressful than Nascar so I hang out on other racing boards. I have an opportunity with another website to do some work for them.

There was a time when the race threads had some decorum. Being the thread host means you should be there to welcome folks and run the race. I have to work usually and cannot be here, reason number one. Reason number 2 is that vox_freedom is the only one who stood up to WVKayaker on the Richmond thread who posted disgusting pics to me along with bully tactics telling me I should go play with dolls. I am very thick skinned as Norm has pointed out, but for no one to say anything to this creep hurt my feelings. Why you ask? Because I’ve worked very hard spending hours upon hours putting up these threads trying to make them interesting for a long time. I have been told not to make them so Jr friendly - um not gonna happen. My pics and graphics are all Jr. :D We were all friends on the thread and off and you guys know who you are. I thought that warranted at least a “shut yer trap” message to weirdos.

The tactics of these late race hit and run posters are just not in line with what the Nascar thread has been all about. I have always thought it was to be about Nascar, what’s going on, the drivers etc. In other words NEWS and finally the race. I miss steveegg who always ran the thread commentary including everyone in his posts and put the interlopers in their place. As you may not know, the only reason I watch Nascar at all is because of a very honorable young man whom I adore as a person. Why you ask? Read my profile page.
