GWC!

Looks like the coast kids are envious of the Jazz’ highest fouls committed record :o)

I couldn’t get online here. Did anyone hear shrubs interview after he wrecked? He blamed the SOB 88 Navy car even though he was on HIS rear fender sort of like the Jr deal. This time he wrecked himself....... says he’s gonna wreck him next time he gets a chance. The clock is ticking.

I was flipping between the race and the hockey game and missed most of the interviews.

Did you ever figure out if the problem was on your end or if it was just FR being slow? At the green, it was taking about 4-5 laps for a page to load. Seemed to get better later on, but then the slows came back on and off until I finally gave up.

I just might have to order that die cast....very cool paint scheme.

Today's race time menu: Lime grilled shrimp, tuna steaks, 5 bean salad....and probably a cold one or three.

Off to get some flower's.......

On the opposite end of the spectrum, here’s snippet of Dale Jr’s interview on Track Side Live.

Dale, Jr. Delightful in Darlington Depiction

May 10, 2008 06:50 AM
“A picture may be worth a thousand words, but combining the two can be unforgettably priceless.....”

NASCAR’S Most Popular Driver, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., appeared on the SPEED Television Show “Trackside” last evening, and his presence was a fabulous addition to the program. Looking relaxed and trim, in his bright-white Mountain Dew/AMP t-shirt and hat combination, Dale, Jr. was appeallingly candid and open in his expressions.

The way he spoke invoked attention to his every carefully thought out word and endearingly phrased sentence. Soft-spoken and sincere, he provided insights and explanation to all questions posed and seemed to hold nothing back. Introspective, caring, kind and considerate to his hosts, audience and probably millions of viewers, he gave what was desired .....heartfelt thoughts and opinions.

It was a pleasure to literally “spend time” with the icon, as his openness made his words feel as if he was speaking to all on a personal level. He made this fan like him even more, if that could be possible, and look forward to hearing him expound again, soon. His down to earth persona remains inviting, intriguing and the boyishly handsome Earnhardt, Jr. acts as if he could not even fathom the meaning of the word conceit.

A racer at heart and a dedicated ‘history buff’, Dale, Jr. easily cavorted with Daryl Waltrip, as the two legends displayed their Mountain Dew race cars in front of adoring fans. Jr.’s car was artistically wrapped in a retro scheme to make it look almost exactly like the original Mountain Dew that Waltrip raced during his heyday. It was fun to see the men frolic as they exchanged notes, pleasantries and reminiscences. Earnhardt, Jr. was not shy and appeared to enjoy the response of the devoted crowd.

It had to be FR because I had no trouble with anything else. I couldn’t get this page to load at all and a few others e-mailed me with the same problem. Seems to be ok today thankfully!

Im in the midst of running Spybot and a good housecleaning..

FR has been a bit sluggish, just a hunch but JOhnRob is probably working under the hood even as we post.

DARLINGTON, S.C. — Four-time Sprint Cup champion Jeff Gordon would like NASCAR to look into the way Roush Fenway Racing is adjusting the rear housing on Carl Edwards’ car to create a competitive advantage.

Edwards has won three times on 1.5-mile tracks this season and was in position to win a fourth before having late engine problems.

Many in the garage said during testing at Lowe’s Motor Speedway earlier this week that the yaw created — Edwards’ car appears to be going sideways on the straightaway, creating more side force heading into the turns — by turning the rear housing to the right gives Edwards a competitive advantage.

” ... NASCAR knows it’s happening,” Gordon said on Friday at Darlington Raceway. “They are the ones that see the cars come through inspection. They see it. When cars can’t even get on the scales because they’re running sideways, it’s something they need to address.”

I love seared Ahi tuna!!

I’m trying to decide what to have. Probably a very thin steak, garlic chive smooshed potatoes and avocado tomato salad.

It feels hotter here today than the desert!!
