Have the farmers not heard of “The Three S’s”? Shoot...shovel...shutup...

Shovels and shutting up are OK in Jolly Olde......

Keeping any kind of gun at home...including a handy little shotgun.....is illegal.

So, shooting is out of the question.

Shotguns and some rifles are still legal in England. Crows can be shot, along with other birds that have been declared pests, like the Canada Goose.
