A Freepper's Observation: The Race for U.S. Sentate
5-4-08 | E.G.C.

As the day begins one of the web sites I frequent in my first rounds of web surfing is the Oklahoma Political News Service. ( This web site has won critical acclaim as a reliable source for poltical information here in Oklahoma and has been mentioned in news stories on radio stations here in Oklahoma such as KTOK.

Recently, OKPNS did an analysis of the race between Inhofe and Rice. The analysis made reference to a blog in the Daily Kos that Rice writes in which he spouts off talking points that quite frankly are more appropiate for San Fransisco than for Oklahoma. A respondent to the post seems to somehow think that Rice represents Oklahoma values more than Inhofe.

Now, here are my thoughts on the subject.

As most people who know me are well aware, I'm a lifelong resident of the state of Oklahoma. My family has very deep roots here. I know Oklahoma values better than anyone else. Jim Inhofe clearly represents Oklahoma values better than Andrew Rice. I quite frankly don't know how Rice gets off thinking he can change Oklahoma's way of doing things. Oklahoma prides itself on being an oil producing state. Our state prospers when we are allowed to do the things we've been doing as a state.

And quite frankly I don't know how in the heck the respondent to the OKPNS post on this subject gets off thinking that Rice is far more representative of Oklahoma's values that Senator Inhofe. This state has voted Republican in far more National elections than Democrats. Why do you think that is? The reality whether these Democrat snake oil salesmen on OKPNS want to accept it or not is the GOP far more represents Oklahoma values then the Dems.

For over a century, Oklahoma has a colorful political history which has been marked by Democrat politicians taking bribes and kickbacks in exchange for political favors and the ability to set public policy over the rest of us. Because of this Oklahoma has fallen way behind in terms of economic growth.

And, I should point out this is the same person who has spoken out in favor of continuing this nonsense by opposing term limits for state officials. Apparrently, the author wants Oklahoma to continue to become a brothel for politicans where they can continue to sell their office and influence to the highest bidder.

These people not only need to be undermined, the politicians they support and hero worship need to be thrown out of office as well. We can't continue to allow Oklahoma to be run like a brothel and we sure as heck don't need the embarrasment of an idiot like Rice ruining our state's image. Jim Inhofe has shown that he WILL represent all Oklahomaans, not just those who voted for him or contributed to his campaign. Do you think Rice will make this same commitment if he wins the Senate race? I don't think so.

I hope people here in Oklahoma will think about the ramifications of the Democrats continuing to set public policy over the rest of us and ask themselves if they think it would be good idea. Don't let these Dem snake oil salesmen on OKPNS bamboozle you. Jim Inhofe has been and continues to be the man for all of Oklahoma. Regards........

I have a further update to this op-ed which I posted earlier this week.

Obviously the jerk who responded to the OKPNS article referencing Andrew Rice and his blog at the Daily Kos seems to have problem with conservatives and christians. He has e-mailed a letter to the FCC in support of FCC NPRM 04-233.

This is the docket which would require christian radio stations like K-LOVE to air program which everyone know full well are way way contrary to their beliefs and mission purposes.

Frist off, let just say to him and all other who think this is such a great idea that there's absoultely nothing positive or encouraging about Rosie O'Donnell, Ellen Degeneras, Roseanne Barr or their venomous anti-christian anti-USA rantings and ravings.

If this docket passes an awful lot of small town radio stations and christian boradcasters are going to end up going out of business.

Folks, I think this shows you the kind of people we're up against. Do we really this kind of embarassment on top of all the others that Oklahoma has had?

I hope people will think about this when they go to the polls in November.
