:-) Love was in the air!
So, are you gonna butcher all the bunnies or do you have friends lined up to buy some?
My friend who butchered the chickens with me sold three of them for $44...$2.25 a pound. She just about doubled her money. It ran her about $7.50 to raise each bird...not including the $700 it cost her to make the plucker. It probably ran me about $10 per bird because I had to buy a feeder and waterer and pay the $1.50 processing fee. I want to do it again next year, only with a different pen. This one was hard to move. I’d like to build one out of PVC. I have another friend who wants to do it with me and if we split the cost of the pen, I can use it and then transport it to her house and she can use it.

I certainly got everyone talking about food, didn’t I? Heh heh!!
Well, my friends...it’s been another one of those days.
I took the boys out to eat lunch and on the way noticed I was loosing spots of vision...like I did that time before when I had the migraine, you know? Anyway, we got to the restaurant and by then I was pretty disoriented and had totally lost my peripheral vision in my right eye. I sat and didn’t say anything while the boys ate and it gradually started coming back. Finally I was able to drive home and I took my BP...it was 166/106. (Remember...I’m on THREE high strength bp meds.)
I called the doctor and was instructed to get to the ER, so Steve came home and took me. My BP in the ER was 178/108, according to their machine. I had a splitting headache and was very nauseated. They gave me some morphine and a nausea medicine and WHEW! It knocked me for a loop!! I could feel the headache pounding but couldn’t feel any pain.
Anyway...they did a CT scan of my brain and apparently it didn’t show anything so I got to come home...still, I go to the neurologist tomorrow anyway. We’ll see what comes of it.
Rose, I woulda called you if I’d been admitted.
