We went out to look at new monitors this morning. Interestingly, both places we looked (Best Buy and Circuit City) had only widescreen monitors in stock, no 4:3 19” monitors at all. I didn’t realize widescreens were becoming the standard.

We didn’t make a purchase yet, because we want to check Costco too, and they were closed today. At least with our setup, it’s easy to switch Hair’s monitor between computers and take turns. :)

BTW, I still have some brats we could throw on the grill if you guys wanted. Or maybe Sunday, when it’s not as likely there will be fireworks going on.

I still need to get buns anyhow. Meant to stop on the way home from work today, and I didn’t. I rather like mine nekkid, but I’m weird that way.

I still have to go to *town* at some point. *sigh* Gotta get stuff to make something for the cook-out / potluck tomorrow. Maybe I’ll go tonight when everyone else is off doing fireworks...

BTW, on the monitor...you might also check office supply type places, I dunno. Not that their prices are as good, but they might be more likely to carry standard ratio monitors.

I know it’s probably farther than you’ll want to go... but Fry’s up in Renton has a huge selection.

I’m surprised by the lack of 4:3 too. I suppose it might be nice but I haven’t felt the drive to get a wide-screen. I suppose my next one probably will be though.
