Another actor can't handle fame and money.

So much for playing a Las Vegas CSI. Even a TV cop ought to know better.

I don’t watch CSI anymore because Marg Helgenberger & Co moved the plots so far to The Left, but as I recall the series from when I used to watch it, the irony here is that the character he plays is a supposed to be a guy who battles addictions.

Somewhat ironic. Just last night my wife and I watched the show. One of the subplots was that Dourdan (as Brown) was abusing drugs, uppers to get himself going, and downers so he could sleep. Another character, the one called Nick, noticed the problem and told him to get help. Art imitates life?
I mentioned to my wife how bad Dourdan looked, puffy eyed and washed out; but I thought it must be makeup given the nature of the subplot. I think maybe I was wrong.

The worse of the two leftists--Jorja Fox--quit the show last fall. It's really not so bad.
I remember when Marg's character said she was pro-choice and Gil quoted some Bible verse and then Catherine got all huffy about it when she was the one who started it.

I dont watch CSI anymore because Marg Helgenberger & Co moved the plots so far to The Left,Yes, but Marg's HOT!
I've always liked William Peterson, especially in "To Live and Die in LA," and I really liked Gary D. in his part in "Alien Resurrection."
I have to admit that I haven't seen the current or last season of CSI because of my work schedule, but I LOVE the earlier seasons, in fact I've got the first 4 seasons on DVD.

"far to the left"
CSI isn't so bad. You're right, is NCIS. Mark Harmon's character in one episode stated that abortion-clinic bombers are just as bad a problem as Islamo-fascists. The men in the series are depicted as semi-silly, geeks or macho idiots while the women are all serious, wonderful feminist heroes.

Me neither. I just googled his name, because I’ve seen the show occasionally, and wanted to know which cast member he was.

I think the quotation marks should be around the word “star”.
