In pieces, yes. The Reagan navy was a better navy; what you see now is the legacy of Pat Schroeder and Bill Clinton. Thankfully GEN Krulak had none of it for his Marine Corps.

And what's wrong with what you're seeing? Are you suggesting they're less capable than under the Reagan days? Less dedicated? Less intelligent? Incapable of protecting the country? What?
