Total population of Wake county that encompasses Raleigh and Cary is 786,522 estimated in 2006. I estimate the total number of single family homes to be approx. 280,000.

I estimate the total number of single family homes to be approx. 280,000. And out of 280,000, there are about 800 more foreclosures now than there were a year ago. This IS NOT a disaster.
