Your bible knowledge is greatly wanting if you think that the Bible says that Adam was the first animal. Nothing in the article said anything about a time frame, it mentioned the first animal being more complex than was expected (a jelly rather than a sponge), your comment was that “Yes, I would consider Adam a complex entity.” Adam was not the first animal. Your six day comment is a nonsequeter.

Yep, but we still have that ol’s six day thingy to worry about. God created everything, as we know it, in six days. Believe it or not … your choice. As for me, I will go with the six days. Call it faith or whatever, there it is. ;-)
