A friend of ours has a son that is expected to be Kalani Heppe, from NC state. 6'4', 315 lbs guard. GREAT kid - dad is a Baptist minister, he is a devout Christian, graduated from a local high school. Granted, he's not expected to be a high pick, they are hoping for 4th round or so.
It seems as though from what I've heard the NFL is focusing more on character this year after the off field problems that occurred last season. We'll see if that comes true. I'm sure his background can only help. Good luck to him!

It seems as though from what I've heard the NFL is focusing more on character this year after the off field problems that occurred last season. If you believe that, I have a bridge I need to sell you. If Hitler could throw a 70 yard spiral, he would be playing in the NFL.
The truth is that most teams dont care about the character of a player, until it becomes just too unbearable and outweighs what they do on the field.
