In most areas, it’s been a long, long time. Pepsi products usually do come from a regional plant “under the authority of” Pepsico.

Just about all major soft drink brands, including Coke and Pepsi, are bottled by franchisees and have been for several decades.

Most pop manufacturers don’t bottle their own products regionally.

I’ve gotta tell the Southrons out there that Mexican Coca-Cola is superior to their Coca-Cola. That’s just the way it is.

Companies like Coca-Cola have for many years sold the syrup to their approved bottlers who add water and sugar.

Pretty much since they started, it’s been bottled locally by whoever has the contract.

Isn’t Pepsi owned by some wahabi radical group anyway? And gives money to liberal causes like mad?

Why support terrorism?

Hey there!

Have a DMD addict in my household as well. You do have to pay attention to the BEST BY date on DMD. Took awhile to realize this until we also had a run-in with some Target product that was not so good. Maybe avoid Target???

Not that long. Just a hundred and twenty years or so. Soft drinks have been bottled locally by independent bottlers with contracts since the beginning.

Pepsi products are bottled in certain geographic areas....Some are bottled in NY, while down here in the south, most are bottled at Buffalo Rock in B’ham. Regardless of where, the bottling company is located on the can/bottle cap. Also, regardless of where, the ingredients and the amounts are the same—everywhere—there is no possibility of one bottler mixing something one way and another bottler mixing it another.....could be the one that tasted bad was out of date and the sugar in it had started to break down.
