swamping the country with illegals in the name of free flow of workers.
-- Rich republicans will get cheap labor.
-- Rich democrats will get cheap votes.
-- The tax payers will get the bill. Simply and well put!

Right now I'm voting for our dangerous, contemptuous, vengeful, megalomaniac over one of their two dangerous, contemptuous, vengeful, megalomaniacs. I really don't know if I'm going to be able to hold on till November. I think even Rush may have been hinting about third party today.

While I agree with you he has a history of smearing conservatives, in this case he smeared no one. He merely distanced himself from an ad, that while admittedly an effective and fair ad, also carries certain risks of blowback. By distancing himself from it, he reduces those risks, and yet the ad still runs. Not only that, but by the act of distancing himself from it, he gives the ad more exposure.
McCain's move is a win-win.
Stop being so naive.

I didn't say McCain deserves his clean image. IMHO he's no cleaner than your average Senator, perhaps a bit less so. Nevertheless, he's been quite successful in cultivating that image, and in politics image is everything.

If the strategery is so schmart then why don't pubbies see it? They lack cynicism, which is what politics is all about.

Good for you.

You think that stabbing your most loyal supporters in the back, on the most important issue facing this country [ethnic separatism and our coming demographic doom] is "very smart political strategy"? Stop being such a drama queen. Nobody is stabbing anyone in the back. All McCain did was distance himself from the ad. His statement in no way hurts anyone in NC, and the ad still runs and hurts Obama. Even better, McCain's statement gives the ad national exposure.
Chill out and stop being so naive.

The race for the White House is allready over. No matter how you slice it, a liberal will win. Focus your efforts on Congress so at least there’s some balance.

The standard response here would be to tell you to go straight to hell, but I'm sure that that would get me in all sorts of trouble with the Admin Moderator, and, besides, a little prick like yourself is precisely the kind person to go and report me.
So, instead, I will wish you a nice day.
But please don't come whining to me when McCain can't match Obama's fundraising come autumn, or when we wake up on Wednesday, November 5, with an Obama presidency and massive DEM gains in both houses of congress.
Or, beyond that, a couple of decades from now, when Obama & Jeremiah Wright & their successors have carved you up into little pieces and fed you to the fishes, as part of their greater program for the Zimbabwe-ification of what was once known as the United States of America.

Did this one thrill you as well?
McCain Criticizes Katrina Response as Disgraceful
McCain took direct aim at the Bush administration on Thursday as he stood in the lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans, the area hardest hit by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and declared that never again will a disaster of this nature be handled in the terrible and disgraceful way that it was handled.

Question: Is McCain the official Rep. candidate for the election in November?
Question: Can the Americans nominate someone else?

Thrill me? No, but it’s hopeful McCain has sense enough to realize that he has to draw a sharp distinction between himself and President Bush.
