The Presidency really takes its toll; just look at how George Bush has aged. To see how the current candidates would fare after a term in the Oval Office, we put them through the Pop Photo Time Machine. See our Photoshopped before and afters of Hillary Clinton, John McCain, and Barack Obama.
Mouse-over any of the images to see how the candidates may look in 2012.
Aging takes time, even when you make it happen artificially with software. Each candidate took about four hours of retouching. To mimic the ravages of time, we did the following:
- Used the Burn and Dodge tools to deepen wrinkles and paint in age spots. - Cloned the eyebrows and moved them lower. - Used the Liquify filter to hollow out cheeks, make jowls, thin out lips, and enlarge ears and noses. - For Clinton and Obama, brought in forehead wrinkles from separate photos and used the Match Color tool to blend them in. - For Obama, painted in gray hair on top of his current hair; for Clinton, desaturated with the Sponge tool to make her grayer.

They did a great job on Obama. Very distinguished appearance.
Well, the difference between a 50 year old man and a 75 year old man is huge. The Presidency does age one, that’s for sure.
I’m always amazed by the photographs of Lincoln over the 4 years he was in office. He entered looking rather virile, and by 1865 his portraits show a frail looking man.
Shudder!!!!!
LOL LOL
(shudder) Hitlary looks like she misplaced her broom!!
Funny. I’ve taken two positions on McCain: (1) “I will never vote for the RINO-SOB,” and (2) “I will be the first in line to vote for McCain to prevent BO from becoming President.” The second is my present position.
As for his age, I take note that his 96 year old mother is spry, but more important I spot him 5 and a half years off his chronological age, those that he spent at the Hanoi Hilton. Despite my distaste for many of his political postures, I think we owe him those 5 and a half years.
This can’t be right. Hillary’s nose did not get any longer.
