I'm not originally from Maine. I have lived in the lewiston-auburn area for about 17 years. And I've never been around a group of people that was so arrogant and so foolish as these folks are. They know it all, yet vote democrats into power who are clueless.
It's a shame too. I love the northern part of the state. Once you get out of central and southern Maine the people are great. It’s these left wingers in the central and southern part of the state that control everything.

You write well, but these stories are so ... darned ... depressing.
I thought Maine was one of the 'good' States. Yankee work ethic, and all that...Two RINO senators, but certainly beats the two that we have in California.

Next time you protest though take a video camera and the second they start harassing you call the cops. Videotape everything, and the more videocameras the better.

The abuse you describe happens because liberals are unconcious. In psychology the correct term for their behavior is “Projection”. They take the worst elements of themselves and project, or cast it, onto others. They do this as a defense mechanism and they are totally unaware of it. Most young people go through a stage like this and outgrow it, but many don’t. It’s the root of the victim mentality we see so much on the left. They think everyone is a victim because they think THEY are a victim. Its why they call conservatives ‘fascists’ and yet would happily implement a draconian Nanny State.

These people are petty, destructive and dangerous... especially when they organize. I try to ignore them but be aware that you are NOT dealing with concious, rational people.

Whenever a moon-bat starts berating and acting up, call the police immediately. Do not let them get the upper hand. Police believe the first story they hear. It is just human nature. Do not give an inch...call the police first. Needless-to-say, this would necessitate having a cell phone any time you plan to rally.
