We had two ganders - my mother named them after her two brothers-in-law (Dick & Billy). They chased us around the barn every afternoon when we came home from school.

Mean biscuits;)

Dear Hubby and I had two mated geese pairs. They used to wander together in the yard, side by side, lords of all they surveyed...and yes, they were MEAN!

We put in a small pool for them, and to watch them bathing on hot sunny afternoons was just beautiful, splashing huge sparkles of water many feet into the air, grooming and fluffing...

We had a large pond, but they preferred the house yard; fortunately they stayed off the porch. :S
