Due to our shifty EX-Business Partner, we won’t see our regular refund until sometime this summer, let alone out “bonus” from the Gubmint. He has a LOT of explaining to do first to our Accountant, then to our Lawyer, about some missing money, the JERK!

But, when I do get my hands back on my OWN MONEY, I’ll do what I always do: 1/3 to debt, 1/3 to savings, 1/3 to investing.

Sorry, America. I won’t be shoe shopping with my refund, LOL!

Save it and much more money to pay for future taxes.

In that H&R Block survey, by the way, more than 40 percent of the respondents said they wished the government would use the $168 billion economic stimulus package for a higher purpose, such as to reduce the national debt (37 percent),

Well, paying down the national debt would be pretty pointless because the federales just increased the national debt to get the money. < /sarc>

Since I usually come up short on my federal taxes at the end of the year, I'm thinking of just adding $600 to my June estimated payment just to show that I can't be bribed with my own money.

No rebate for me.
I’m rich.
(and fearing the tax treatment I’ll get from Hill or O’Bammy)

No debt here, except for one vehicle and home we purchased 15 years ago.I’ll put it in the safe with the money I made from selling my business.Sorry guys,I don’t “need” anything and I won’t buy something that I just “want”.Married,3 kids,so I’m looking at $2100 to add to our rainy day fund.

Stimulus? what stimulus? This is all that was in the letter that the IRS sent to me.

Thanks for nothing, Dubya!

Unfotuantely, I am one of the ‘rich’ who won’t get a dime of this money. My daughter, on the other hand, who college I am paying for, is not rich, so she and a lot of her friends at school are already looking forward to the $600 the gov’t is showering upon them. Buy stock in liquor stores near colleges, because if the money flows before the end of the year, a lot of it will be going for kegs.

On the same track. It sucks that the people who actually pay most of the taxes get a big goose egg.

Who gets a check?

I don’t qualify, I just supply the money for other people’s checks.

You must spend. On Chinese-made consumer electronics. It’s your patriotic duty. ;)

I have mixed feelings about what to do with the “check” (That will be EFT to my account like my tax return was)

I could invest it.. pay a bill.. or spend it..

But it was “purchaed” by adding to the national debt.. maybe I ought to send it to the IRS and tell them to stuff it up their ass....
