And now that the useless Mavs are out of there, now the whole city can focus their attention on the Stars.
OMG I’m exhausted from watching the game. I’m so prowd of our boys. Their playoff potential was totally ignored by the MSM and none of the hockey experts predicted they would do this well. Tomorrow night at the AAC they can sweep the series.

We were driving home on the PA Turnpike (fortunately W side of Allegheny Tunnel) pulling in 105.9 fm (to listen to Mike Lange!) and the burgundy colored minivan passengers infront of us started high fiving (we could see them whooping it up like we were!!!). Great...but nerve racking game.
On to the Flyers...and I gotta add, are we the only hockey fans left on FR?

I did not get to bed until 2:15 a.m. I am exhausted with no voice left. OMG what a game and end to the series. Thank goodness the boys do not have their first game against the Red Wings until Thursday night. We all need the rest. I have to go read the last several pages at this thread Playoffs: San Jose vs Dallas before my boss comes in.
Do you think we can beat the Red Wings to make the Stanley Cup Finals?
I think we need to take Game 1, to have a shot at winning the series. My hope is that with the long layoff, the Wings will be rusty in Game 1, and that is the game we need to win at the Joe.
Great game. Nice goal in OT. I like what Jagr said about the PENS. He said that they (Rangers) were expecting them to get tired and slow down but they just never did. The PENS came out in OT and looked fresh and determined. Now it’s time for Philly. I say Pens in 6.
It was a great game and a good series. Every game was tightly fought.

Jagr was awesome. Too bad a few of the other rangers didn’t step up, or it might have been a much longer series.
As for the Flyers, remember, they just beat the # 3 seed and then the # 1 seed. They will be the Penguins biggest test by far.
I’m very happy with the way the Pens have playes thus far. They’ve come a long way from last year, when the Senators schooled them. It looks like the students have become the teachers, and I hope they teach Philly a lesson!
Game 1 is on Friday in Pittsburgh. I can hardly wait!
P.S. - Sean Avery got out of the hospital yesterday, just in time to see NY lose!

You are right, Jagr really picked up his game. He did get himself put in the box too much in the last game. He is a great player and I wish he still was a Penguin.
They Flyers are scarey. They hae beaten some very good teams. They will be physical and tough. I still think the Pens can win.
Whoever wins the East will win the Cup!
