PLAYOFF HOCKEY LIVE THREAD!!!!!!
What an emotional rollercoaster!
Even as I was talking myself down from the ledge, the hockey gods smiled, and in the span of 14 seconds the whole game changed!
I am freaking out!!
I’m smiling like the butchers dog!!
MORROW!!!!!!
Stars are looking good.
Hubby and I are going to be a basket case if this is how the series goes. San Jose was all over the boys tonight.

An outclassed Stars (SOG 18-27, FOW 21-30, 1-5 PP [SJ 0-4]) beat the Sharks in OT off a beautiful feed by Stephane Robidas to Stars Captain Brenden Morrow who blasted it past Evgeni Nabokov @ 4:39 OT. The Stars came out in overtime gunning for the win with 3-0 SOG. Stars goalie Marty Turco earned his pay tonight for a huge series opening win. Dallas continues their excellent win record at the "Shark Tank" - dl

Pens shuts out the Rangers in game 2 sweet victory!
What is up with Jagr’s extended Hitler mustache?
He’s got the Hitler on his upper lip and it goes down to his chin!
What a freak!!
Thx, Pa Mom
At the end of the game, Avery was in front of Fluery in the crease, running his mouth. Fluery gave Avery a smack in the legs with his stick, avery speared Fluery in the chest with his stick, and so Gill and Laraque took Avery to the wall and a scrum ensued.
No penalties were given. Just some good old playoff hockey!
Dallas is looking good!
They should give Detroit fits, if (when) they meet in the Western Conference Finals.
Thanks for the link!
Without it I wouldn’t have scrolled down and seen those two smokin’ hot Sharks babes! 8^)
At least one Dallas team decided to show up for the playoffs.
I wouldn’t worry about Dallas. The Guppies are back to playing like the tadpoles they are..AND I HATE IT!!!!
With Stars-Sharks, there is definately a home-ice disadvantage. The Sharks win almost everytime they play in Dallas.
Thank you :) We were trying to get info (more than just the score) and on the call in show they were talking about Avery possibly getting a one game suspension (it doesn’t sound like it was warranted—and he should play). But they made it sound like it was awful...but glad to know it was ‘old fashioned hockey.’
Hopefully they pack their brooms and take them to the Garden :)
No talk of brooms please.
We still have 2 tough games to play in enemy territory.
But I have a good feeling about the team so far.
We’ve really gotten great performances from the third and fourth lines. Also the PK has been stellar, holding NY to 1 goal on 9 power plays. 0-6 yesterday!
Best surprise so far for me - Dupuis, who came with in the Hossa trade, has done a great job fitting into the line up. As good as Hossa has, IMO.
And check out this story - Staal vs. Staal

A 5-3 victory over the New Yawk Rangiz!!
And I now have a name for Jagr’s facial hair.
I like to call it - his “Brokeback mustache”!
Hey...the other day you said no brooms...no disrespect...but I am getting mine out Thursday :)
Just an awesome game!!!
Make it 3-0 Stars!!!
And now that the useless Mavs are out of there, now the whole city can focus their attention on the Stars.
MSG might just need sweeping on Thursday!
Apparently the CEO of UPMC has a brother who owns an ad agency in NYC...the same agency that does the UPMC ads (outsourced from the Burgh...isn't that shameful?). Anyways...I thought I would share that...
Another great game for Malkin...hope he gets the Hart :)
