An update on my previous thread.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/2003845/posts
My buddy called me today, he said the head of Quality made an announcement at their operations meeting this morning.
He said they were in the process of hiring a new inspector and hoped to have him on board in early May.
He also stated he was a former co-worker of ---- (My friend).
Thank you all for the concern, advice and most of all prayers.
Nothing in stone but things are really looking up!
Special thanks to all that freepmailed me with job opportunities and my long time friends, Allegra, jellybean and Jim Robinson.
Funny, Jim is one of the only Freepers I've met.
Love you all!!!!

Cautious optimism for you.
Thanks for the update. It does sound like things are headed in a good direction. Will keep praying here in any event!
A cheer to you all from my beautiful daughter Alexandra
She has her Mothers looks. ;-D
PS With her cheering, you are bound to win!
What a beauty! Good luck.
Good, things are look’n up. :-)
Awwwwww, then you’re twice blessed.
Sounds like good news!
I’ve got my fingers crossed for you, good luck!
Thanks, I'm as optimistic as a pessimist can be, my friend calls me with any information he can and is so excited!
I on the other hand I won't be happy until I'm employed any can provide for my family.
Thanks N.V.A, we have something in common, inspection is considered N.V.A
Overhead we are.
“Trust but verify,” a wise man once said. You’re doing the right thing in making sure to provide for your family. Go for it, and thanks again for keeping us posted.
We’ll be pulling for you!
You sure that’s YOUR daughter?(only kidding!!)
She’s a doll!
(Is "Head of Quality" anything like "Ass of Life"?))
Thanks, things are looking up but who couldn't use more prayers!
A friend of my parents actually took out an ad in the paper to pray for me and our family, how cool is that?
FReegards, Yankee.
Sounds good.
Keep Faith Alive.
Oh I'm sure, ;-D.
Funny story actually, my wife worked 2nd shift and we really couldn't find or have the time for another child although we both wanted another.
Our son doesn't want to sleep (to compound matters) and so when I broke my back nearly six years ago we found an opportunity to try (Yeah, she thought I would kill myself.)
She was born in Sept of 2002 here live on FR.

As far as I know the first (and only) live birth on FR (and hopefully a last ;-D)
The only one as funny as you is pissant.
Your not offended by that comment are you?
You have a wonderful family and very many friends, live happy!
Alexandra is adorable!
