From a Seminole fan:
That’s the silliest thing I’ve seen in a while...it doesn’t change the humiliating outcome of the game.
This kid was on my nephew’s basketball team over in Tampa. They say Orson is a “really nice, gentle giant” kind of kid, but on the hoops team he basically tackles (literally) at least one player on the other team.
I say sign him up!
Oh man. That guy will never let that down. That’s like breaking the Stanley Cup.
Oh, c'mon. Lighten up. Dropping and breaking your BCS Championship trophy is priceless. And Every Buckeye/Big 10 fan on the planet probably felt the same way.
We were also thinking "There's some of that SEC 'speed'."
The story I heard was that it was a potential recruit that stumbled in Urban's office and knocked over the BCS Thrphy and broke into a bunch of pieces.
“Oh man. That guy will never let that down. Thats like breaking the Stanley Cup.”
Sort of...but at least the Stanley Cup is handed around and meant to be handled. That’s not true about a solid crystal football.
Of course, I would be tempted to toss the thing to the tour guide myself. “GO LONG!” Especially if their attitude is, “Ah, no prob, we have insurance.”
Anyone want to bet on how long a random UF student would be paying off this mistake if he’d made it, instead of a unsigned, prized recruit?
Sounds like somebody needs to make bacon outta this hog...
