Oh my, 6 hours in the ER. I hope things are going to improve from this point on.
Will be thinking of you today IG. You have a lot to be proud of.
The Berlusconi victory is a welcome thing. Perhaps Italians are discovering what negative effects socialism really has on a country.
Indeed.
Wow! Thanks for the outstanding list of links, Molly! It may take awhile to get through them all, but I’m game!
Oh, how I can relate to this...
Scary.
prairie, could you visit VA with your window washing bucket? (((wink, wink))).
Before you answer, think about this poor freeper who is in a cast. (((smiling broadly))))
Some of my swiss chard is popping out of the ground. My tomatoe plants are growing, my thyme is spreading, there are 6 flowers on the zuccini squash, OH, I have one red strawberry. Now when to pick it???? I’ve never picked strawberries. I need to get more plants. Roomey’s okra are above ground, but I think these cool temps are not helping them. The yard long cucumbers are about 1 1/2 inches high. One looks a little peeked, hopefully it will get stronger. The pickling cucumbers are growing tenecles to climb, have to put up the wire to keep them off the soil.
The daylillies I planted in the with the cucumbers have not popped up yet.
Is there a lesson to be learned here? There was a lot of bitter in-fighting in the Republican ranks -- notably, right here. Many threatened to be stay-at-home voters. Can we UNITE?
Oh lysie, you fix the best breakfasts each morning. Thank you. I had my quarter cup of oats this a.m. I don’t see any shrinking yet, but my wedding ring is loose.
It’s still cook here. Earlier it was 45 degrees, by 0800 it was about 49 degrees and supposed to get up to 70 this afternoon. How is it down your way kassie and prairie? AND the air is DRY, DRY, DRY. It feels so good.
CONGRATULATIONS, welcome to retirement world. It is great! Never have an empty moment, always something to do. You wonder how you got along in the business world. WELCOME!
Let me know how those pickling cukes turn out ok? Are you going to pickle them?
Oooopppsss, It is stil cook = It is still COOL....
I feel your window’s pain.
:^P
I’ve never pickled anything. I have made mesquite syrup, (failed jelly) and from that learned to make mesquite jelly. That’s about all of my canning experience. But I can really freeze things well.
Grrrrrrrrr!!
