One does not "Choose" to be conservative, it is a matter of maturing and being to form cogent thoughts and the analysis of what Liberals say and do.
2 examples of the hypocritical liberal thought process:
1)Laurence Tribe of Harvard decries the supposed treatment of the homeless in Cambridge and then fights against a half-way house in his neighborhood. He likes the homeless as long as he doesn't have to see them. This is typical liberal thinking
2)Liberals demand we develop alternate sources of energy, which is fine, but when a wind farm is proposed off of Martha's Vineyard, they howl and scream because they feel it would spoil the view from their multi-million dollar yachts
two Very liberal talk show hosts in Boston even posed the following question: "Why can't they build them in some poor neighborhood where no one would have to look at them?"
This is more typical liberal thinking; that poor people are sub-human.
