i apologize for the loaded questions and looking back at them they do seem loaded. Just one of the posts on here said that the FR does not stand for feminism and I was just wondering why?

What's your definition of "feminism"? (again, words mean specific things)

If by "feminism" you mean that women are treated equally under the law, then I don't think you will find much argument with that.

If by "feminism" you mean that women should be treated better than men under the law, then I think you will find a whole lot of disagreement.

Since most self described "feminists" mean the second description, that is why you will often see the bristles go up when someone tries to champion "feminism".

Some people on FR equate feminism with affirmative action, abortion, and hatred of the traditional family and traditional sexual morality. That is true of some feminists.

This is my brand of feminism.
