This is very sad news. I have been chatting with Rte66 for a few years and remember some of the anecdotes she told me; she travelled quite a bit in New Mexico and Arizona, may have lived in Sedona at one time. I believe she was originally from Oklahoma.
I also remember how much she loved SECDEF Rumsfeld. One time, on a birthday tribute thread to him, she was so funny and creative in her writing showing her enthusiasm for him. It was funny and touching.
I wish things could have gone better for her, that’s for sure. I said special prayers for her at Mass today.
Rest in Peace, Sweet J. May Angels attend thee.
For everyone that has posted about Rte66==Our family is overwhelmed with the condolences and prayers offered on our behalf as well as hers. We have always been proud of her intelligence and spirit. Thank you so much for everything. We are all deeply touched.
