With the electric recliner I’ll be able to pop an ibuprofen capsule

Is that what you are taking for pain? That is interesting because jk had a dental procedure a couple days ago and his dentist, rather than sending him home with a prescription for a narcotic pain medication, told him to take two 500 mg Tylenol (or acetaminophen) together with three 200 mg Motrin (or Ibuprofen) every 4 to 6 hours for pain. He said that it works just as well as a narcotic and has none of the side effects. Jk says that combination seems to be working well for him - (although, I actually think he would have preferred a prescription for percocet. LOL.) ;-)

Thank you all for your prayers and compassion. I feel much better about Jim now knowing that so many are praying for him. It's the best medicine going.

I'm off to bed cause it's late. God bless and keep you all in His care.

The VA doctor I saw on my first visit there a couple weeks ago sent me home with a bottle of 800mg ibuprofen tablets. They seem to be working fairly well taking one capsule every four to six hours. No side affects so far. Before that I was taking 2 Advil tablets every three or four hours. I think they’re each the equivalent of 200mg of ibuprofen.
