Wow, it's still there. Like I said it was way back in 1973.
There was also a house of horrors called "Dracula's Castle". I believe the Gay Daolphin was the tallest building on the Strand at that time. People mostly stayed in campgrounds. Oh, and there was a min-igolf course every 100 yards or so. They were simpler times.

Wow, those were simpler times. Most of the developed areas near the shore are high density mid and high rises, except for areas that are single family home areas. It is very congested in the Gay Dolphin area, as well as many of the nearby sections. There are also several mega developments that serve as tourist attractions.
