NEITHER had the morals of an alley-cat.

While Mr. Lincoln certainly had his faults, even his most vicious critics never accused him of Clintonian frolics with the office staff. AFAIK, he was completely faithful to Mary.

This says a lot about his character, IMO, as she was not exactly the easiest person in the world to live with.

did i say that "DISHONEST Abe" was a "bedroom athlete" as "wee willie klintoon" is?? ("lincoln, the TYRANT" had OTHER "problems of character".)

otoh, BOTH were just as DISHONEST & AMORAL as men/POTUS. BOTH would have passed out "White House official recipes" for cooking people, if they thought 1% of the voters wanted to engage in cannibals.

NEITHER lincoln or klintoon were deserving of the public trust. period. end of story.

otoh, "Mary Todd" was NUTS, so that may be 1 reason that "dishonest abe" was as he was.
