Keep in mind, folks, while you're getting depressed that your favorite actor or actress is a cultist is that a fair number are probably 'cafeteria Scientologists', similiar to 'cafeteria Christians' who pick and choose what teachings of their religion they want to follow and ignore what they don't.

Hollywood hedonists are not known for doing much that doesn't have to do with the relentless catering to self, so if the Scientology doctrines impinge on their pleasure and/or image, it won't really have much meaning in their lives.

OK... I’m now thinking of my ‘cafeteria Muslim’ ex-roommate, who, as far as I can tell, has probably done almost everything she wasn’t supposed to do and didn’t do anything that she should have... I’m now lost at where the ‘Muslim’ part came in at all, except possibly in an admissions essay.
