I was just trying to point out the fact that there may have been a reasonable reason for the surgery.

You'd be surprised how self conscious a young girl can be if she thinks her breasts aren't even. Sure. And boys and girls have gone through these crises of body image for eons. Without the need for plastic surgery.

well now, Hooters for many is more about the shorts; butt, I see your point.....
To: SeaHawkFan
You are correct. But the evidence shown so far does not demonstrate any deformity.

Are you the triviality judge?

the thing is there are plenty of pix of her dressed revealingly, presurgery, and that doesn’t appear to be the case.

I close friend was in a car wreck as a kid and because of injuries, one side simply didnt develop I have no problem with that. There are good reasons for cosmetic surgery. It's just that they might account for a percent or two of all procdures done.

She was captain of her high school cheerleading squad, a nearly straight-A student and a soon-to-be pre-med student at the University of Florida Seems she wanted to be a D student. When I first read that, I thought you were trying to get a dig in on my Alma Mater.

Are you the triviality judge? No, but I know it when I overlook it.

What? Do you need to see a picture?

Orthodontic work and breast augmentation are NOT the same thing. Breast augmentation is invasive, violent surgery. It is NOT healthy.

What? Do you need to see a picture? There are several pictures of the young lady posted or available from this thread. I see no evidence of a deformity that would require plastic surgery. Unless proven otherwise, I maintain that this was purely elective, vanity surgery.
It's sad that a young lady felt the need to augment herself and sad that it lead to her death. All so unnecessary.

no, dave saw the same pix i did and realized it was not the case here.

Based on the picture of her with two of her friends, I'd have to agree with you. Could be that the parents are trying to trying to claim a deformity in order to deflect criticism from th public for paying for the surgery.

Any man disappointed when a woman pops her top for him deserves an equally lame man.

One of mine was bigger the the other for a short time. It evened out though & nobody but me even knew it. I think its normal for one to be slightly smaller/larger then the other. I know my doctor told me it would be fine & it was. Teenage years can be stressful & I guess I was lucky not to have the stress teens/young adults have these days.
When my oldest daughter was a teen she had a nose she swore was too big. Since it looked fine to us we wondered why all of a sudden she wanted a nose job. Then we found out a few of the girls in school were getting them. She still has her same nose at 28 yrs old & loves it now.

Oh, I agree!
I mean, it’s evident even here on a near daily basis that Boobs are extremely important....more so than character, brains or charm.
